The Paraclete Speed Plate Plus is a multi-hit protective insert that consistently delivers exceptional ballistic performance against a wide range of “special threats” bullets, including the 5.56mm x 45mm 55gr Ball (M193), the 5.65mm x 45mm 62gr Ball (M855), and the 7.62mm x 39mm 123gr PS Ball (Mild Steel Core). The Speed Plate Plus was designed to be worn by patrol officers and first responders in their concealable vest systems in order to defeat the most common rifle threats (AR15/AK47) found on the streets today. As a standalone plate, it provides additional stopping power along with a high degree of trauma reduction. The Speed Plate Plus resists spalling and fragmentation thanks to its advanced lightweight hybrid design.
