Elegantly simple and incredibly strong, easily carried and rapidly deployed, the Talon DiscLoc Baton is a new standard of convenience. This revolutionary design uses two opposing discs that cam into an internal groove that is machined into each tube. The steel discs lock the baton open, while the internal retention grooves provide a solid hold. The 9-part lock can be closed with the simple push of a button, thus providing simple, stable, and secure lockout. Extended, positive tip expansion complements the push button retraction.
SPECIFICATIONS:
The elegance of any design is measured by the quality and simplicity of its parts. In this baton you will find the premium materials, exceptional workmanship and flawless function of ASP. All combined in a push button design with minimal parts. While others are content to introduce new products, the Talon produces a new standard. This is a baton with quality, durability and performance in every detail.
Cerakote Finish
Cerakote is a custom firearm finish that is oven cured. It is hard and durable. Cerakote resists corrosion and abrasion. It is an industrial grade ceramic coating. The surface to be finished is prepared by blasting with 100 grit aluminum oxide. The finish is mixed with a hardener. It is sprayed on at a thickness of .001" (one third the thickness of a human hair). The finish is then cured in a 250o oven for two hours. Cerakote was developed as a durable protective finish for military and law enforcement firearms. It is both abrasion and corrosion resistant. The matte finish is very low profile. It wears well against repeated openings closings and impact strikes.

We are working on getting better images on the site to avoid confusion. The button release is what is shown. For the cap release, the entire end cap is your button as opposed to the recessed button in the center. Hope this helps!
