The belts fastening system holds very well have not had a problem with this item at all. A very good belt!

It has its place

by

The product itself is GREAT! Very well constructed and im sure it has its place. The only concern I have is when attaching the belt to my bunker pants, it does not provide a quick deployment. You have to put it on like a regular belt. This does not work very will for an emergency application. It may be great as a duty or service belt, but maybe not in a fire setting.

Its black and holds my pants up.

by

It holds my pants up. Have not jumped out the 3rd storie yet. My waist is 35, they reccomend 4"" min overlap to hold for a bailout so 38 max waist. You could always go smaller. If you do not tuck in your shirt the buckle will jab at your belly, no blood but gets irratating. If you have a belly overhang tuck in your shirt.

Q&A's:

"Yes does this have the velco on it to secure the flap part after it goes thru the buckle???"

I just looked at this belt in our showroom, and yes it does have the velcro you are asking about.

"Is this a 1 1/2 thick or 1 3/4 thick belt?"

The Last Chance Belts are 1.75"" wide, I'm guessing thats what your asking for, the width not the thickness. They come in 2 different sizes standard and large. Standard fit up to 42"" and large fits up to 57"", we stock both models/sizes. Hope I've answered your question?

"Son wears 42 waist pants. Should I get the large belt?"

Debbie, if it were up to me I would use the bigger belt, he might be able to wear the 42 but it would be tight, better to have extra than not enough

"Where can I find a video of someone using this to escape? I want to buy it I just don't know how to use it."

To use, release ""V-Ring"" Velcro, place carabiner through hole of ""V-ring"" and use a Munter hitch to descend.
