Great flashlight!

by

This is great flashlight. The slim design allows it to stay out of the way. I wear it on my turn out coat and it's right there if I need it. It's a bright flashlight, so that's one less thing I need to grab when heading off to a call.

Better than before

by

Used the earlier design but had sent it back due to the plastic lens popping out. New design seems to have fixed that. Strong beam, easy to operate.

very good improvement

by

great improvement and still super dependable

SUPER BRIGHT TOUGH LIGHT

by

I use this light on all night time or indoor runs where I need light. I keep it unattached in the door of my truck in case I don't use my gear. Great light for any use.

Gift Ordered for Relative

by

Excellent service!

Great Streamlight

by

Great Product

Great Light. Plan to get another

by

I like where you can have low or high beam. Works great for search. Even found and rescued a dog in working structure fire with this light.

Very GREAT LIGHT!

by

I would recommend this light to any one who doesn't have one! I LOVE MINE!!!!

Great lights

by

I have two of these lights, one is probably five years old and the other is a couple years or less. Only problem I ever had was with the battery door pin. The light kept shutting off when I moved around and couldn't figure it out. Finally, I looked at the door. The slightest move dislodged the connections on the interior of the door, turning the light off. All it took was a screwdriver to shove the pin back into place for the door to close properly.

Extremely happy with quality! Great product!

by

Extremely happy with quality. Very happy with light output. Can feel the quality in your hands.

Very good for the price

by

Very light, easliy attaches to my bunker coat, multiple setting for the light stream pattern. Good battery life.

I REALLY LOVE IT

by

THIS FLASHLIGHT IS AWESOME AND TUFF AND BRIGHT AND SUPERBRIGHT BEAM PIERVES TRU SMOKE ...GO AHEAD BUY IT

Staple of the Fire Service

by

This light should be a staple of the fire service. The way it fits on my bunker coat onto the upper chest strap is perfect, it doesn't bounce around and I can pull it right off if I need to. I never go anywhere on calls without it.

Great Device

by

This is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone. I have had issues with the power switch giving trouble, but I chalk that up to improper care by personnel.

Superior

by

This light is reliable and has never once let me down. I love this new low profile design, it's the same quality and performance as the original design. The smoke-cutting plugs are awesome, they even upgraded the clip on the back of it. I'm glad to have bought my own, keep up the great work!

Best flashlight for firefighter

by

This flashlight has been thrown, dropped, and abused(during fire ops) and has still held strong. I have only replaced the batteries 3 times in 2 years of use and it is still as bright as it came. This flashlight i feel is a better buy than the rechargeable because you can change batteries and be back in operation whereas recharging takes time.

This should be a part of your morning check

by

Make sure you tighten the lens on the flashlight before every shift. Mine got unscrewed on a structure fire and I lost the lens assembly. Yes, it's my fault for not checking, but I wanted to pass down this info so the same thing doesn't happen to you.

Q&A's:

"Does this light include an AC & DC charging attachments?"

This is the light only, powered by 4 AA batteries. if you want a rechargeable light go to our web site and type in 90503, and that will take you to the new LED Low profile light with several options for you to choose from

"Can you get this version with the rechargeable battery?"

Yes, P/N 90503 same light with a rechargeable battery

"I have a rechargeable survivor 2nd gen. Are the battery packs interchangeable between generations or has that changed size as well"

Everything should be interchangeable between the lights except for bulbs, there are no LED bulbs.

"Will this flashlight be compatible with the slightly older LED Survivor light battery packs and chargers? Because I already have the rechargeable battery and charger for my current Survivor light and would want to use it with this."

Yes, everything should be compatible with the exception of the Survivor LED Replacement Face Cap Assembly Modules, they will not be!

"Same batteries? Charger? Foot Print of the original LED survivor?"

My guess is your asking if you can use the same charger, battery, etc, as you have in your older light, yes, yes you can. Nothing changed except the new look light.

"I have a survivor (gen 2) that has a charger and rechargeable battery already, would these be compatible with this new version? Or has the dimensions of the base changed."

Should be same as what you have been using

"Just to clarify so we're clear. This new light has the 2 charging tabs on the base of the light right? I can purchase this model, swap out alkaline battery adapter for a rechargeable battery that I already have in a Survivor already and be in business right? I would then use the alkaline adapter in the light I replaced this with. thank you"

OK, the only difference between this light and the one you have now is the new LED redesign of the light, it uses the same battery, same charger, you can swap the alkaline batteries out and use in your old light. You cannot swap the light heads out, when your bulb goes out in the old light you will need to get a new bulb, no led interchange.

"Is orange, yellow and black the only colors yall sell?"

Hi Jennifer. Those are the only colors available.

"How can I replace light bulb. Mine just went out. I can't get it to come back on. I liked the flashlight while it was working. Can I return it for another"

This is a LED product, there is no ""light bulb"", and no you can't return it for another. Contact where ever you purchased the light, this is a pretty new product from Streamlight, and most likely still under warranty. Make arrangements to get it sent back to them for repair, unless you have done something to this light it should more than likely no charge to you.

"if using this light with rechargeable batteries in would i be able to put the whole light on a streamlight charger, in order to recharge the batteries"

HI KimmyB, is your question asking us can you recharge your streamlight Survivor light in a streamlight charger, the answer is yes, if you have the streamlight rechargeable battery in it,

"If I get the non-rechargeable version now and then later want to put a rechargeable battery pack in it, is a battery pack available to do so?"

Jonathan, yes you can do that.

"Can you engrave the side of the flashlight with I.D. information"

We have seen this same light engraved before, should be no trouble, but we recommend you take the battery out before you have the engraving done.

"If I buy 20 or more, could a discount be included in?"

Andres, go to our web site and contact the Bids and Quote department, and they will be glad to help you with a quote based on the amount you are interested in. If they were to question you use me (Butch) as a reference. Short answer is yes, but I can't, it has to go through the bid department.

"Which model rechargeable battery pack is compatible with this model Survivor? Also, is the Streamlight: 120V AC Fast Charger/Holder and Cord compatible with this model?"

Aaron, the 90337 battery pack should be the model you need, and yes all of the Survivor's will fit/recharge on the chargers, it makes no difference what model you have.

"Is this model, the alkaline right-angle Survivor light, intrinsically-safe? That is, is it sealed and safe from the hazard of being an ignition source when working in explosive environments? Thank you."

"I got the alkline model, becuase i live in Germany and the charger wouldn__t fit. Would anyone recommend rechargable NiMH or NiCd Batteries? Thank you very much!"

We don't understand what you mean that the charger wouldn't fit? Do you want to change from the alkaline batteries to a rechargeable battery, we can do that? The question back to you would be how are you going to charge the light if your light wouldn't fit?

"as I can do to buy from Argentina? Do you make deliveries to Argentina?"

If you go to our web page and scroll down to the bottom, there you will see ""Customer Care"" under that there is ""shipping cost and terms"" look for the International shipping, this will tell you what you have to do.

"Can the 90545 alkaline be changed to a rechargeable system?"

Yes. It will accept a rechargeable battery pack.

"good afternoon , I need the black rough going forward holding the glass, and I could not find that piece, thanks"
