You get what you pay for.

The price on these boots is what they are cheap. If you're looking for a pair to just get you by these are them. But they wear out after a few years of moderate use.

Served me well

by

I used these boots during my Firefighter I academy and they served me well. They were comfortable and supportive and made it easy to be on my feet all day. The sole has worn significantly as has the toe, but for the price this is to be expected. The traction is good on soft surfaces, however on the metal of the burn tower slipping was a common occurance. Overall I would recommend these boots to someone looking for a low cost pair of boots to wear for recruit academy or other training, but not for prolonged on the job use.

Great boots

by

My department switched to buying these around a year ago, best boots we’ve had. Fits true to shoe size for the most part just need to be broken in. I had to order wides.

Q&A's:

"How tall are your boots.(11"" 12"" tall ect)"

They are 14"" tall

"When ordering a size do you order your actual shoe size or a size larger???"

Chief, I would order your shoe size, just about every manufacturer is building their boot to be what they call shoe fit size, they are making a big effort on their part to make their boots more comfortable for the FF to wear, and not to cause them fatigue anymore than need be.

"How much does this boot weigh ?"

Pat, about 5 to 7lbs. as a pair
