Q&A's:

"will it cut metal and wood"

Bill, yes these blades will cut metal and wood, they won't cut steel I beams, these blades are designed to be used for ventilation purpose's cut holes in the roof walls of a building, they'll cut a light metal that you would find in a home construction, walls, etc. they won't cut steel bars in a window frame, or sliding steel doors on business, it you want a blade that will cut these kind of things try a Fire Hooks Husky Blade

"We have a similar blade to these with the carbide tip possibly different design because it's older but you say they cut light metal will they work for vehicle extrication?"

We wouldn't recommend this, but as a last resort. The only metal that they could possibly cut would be maybe the outer skin of a car door, the car hood, the trunk deck. Nothing like a ""B"" post, hinge, bumpers. There are saw blades out there that are made to do those kind of heavy metals, we'll give you 2 different blade numbers you cn look at on our web site; Tempest Tech Ventmaster blades, TV-406-074 and TV-406-003 this last blade is an abrasive blade. .
