Good Gear Bag
This is the first gear bag I have found that actually fits my turnouts, brush gear, and duty jackets without needing to be a Tetris master. It has a very heavy duty zipper and does not take up much space when empty. This is an excellent gear bag.
Great Turnout Gear Bag
Im a volunteer firefighter with a combination department, we routinely staff the station and therre is no gear racks at the station. I use this bag to take my gear and a spare change of clothes when I staff the station.
"Is this item Customizable? Embroidery, patch, name, etc.?"
These bags can be customized with small embroidery, unfortunately larger images cannot be accomodated. Location is also a factor as to whether the customization can be accomodated. IF you have any specific questions about placement you can contact us at 1-800-852-6088. Thank you.
"What are the dimensions of the bag?"
Tony, 32"" x 16"" x 19"", 8192 cubic inches you can find this on our web page at the bottom
"My husband is a FF and I'm wondering if this bag would be appropriate in size to fit his bedding. He often travels between stations and needs a bag that will hold his XLTwin size comforter, fitted & flat sheets, pillow and still have little room for anything extra. I'm looking for durability and the ability to machine wash/dry, as well as, ease of getting his bedding in and out. If this is not a good choice, what do you suggest? Thank you."
Nikki, this bag measures 32"" long X 16"" wide, X 19"" high, we have another bag P/N CM-GDF50 that measures 48"" long X 16"" wide X 24"" high and is black in color. Either one of these bags would work for what you want to do with it, of course the 48"" model will be larger, it's going to be your choice. if you go to our web page you can enter the part number and it will take you to the page that has a picture of the black bag.
"do you think this bag would be good for yard work tools.... saw, loppers, hatchets, chains. sharp and heavy tools?"
We suppose so, understand that this is made out of nylon material, we are not sure how that will hold up against any sharp or pointed tools.
"I will need to fit an AED in this bag. The AED is in a case and it about 12""x 6"" x 10"" do you think it will fit? I am looking for an ideal bag for a head lifeguard to use to take to the pool. It will need to hold an AED, a clip board, general first aid supplies, a cell phone and a few other general supplies like a water bottle, sunscreen, walkie talkie, etc. Thanks."
Well considering the dimensions of this bag are 32"" x 16"" x 19"" according to our website description I don't see why a 12""x6""x10"" AED wouldn't fit along with anything else you'd care to place in the bag. We do offer AED specific bags which would accommodate your items but be more compact. If you require a quote please contact our customer service department and as to be connected to the EMS salesman.
