Specifically developed for police and military special operations units, the CQD® Weapon Catch provides weapon security while doing rigourous activities such as running. It will keep the gun from swinging back and forth or from slamming into the user during moments of action. It provides retention while maintaining immediate access. The Mark I and II secure rifles, shotguns, submachine guns, tear gas launchers, non-lethal weapons, manual entry tools and other special-use weapons. The CQD® Weapon Catch is used in two basic methods: (1) quick catch – used for moderate physical activity or the necessity of a quick response. (2) retention catch – used for intense physical activity or when total retention is necessary.
Styles: Mark I and Mark II (The Mark II includes a silent polymer hook for fast clip action and silent operation. Mark I does not.)
