This innovative system of load-bearing equipment, rifle cases, backpacks, and a wide range of pouches, cases, and carriers is designed to make it easier than ever to carry and customize your tactical gear. All 5.11 VTAC gear is fully MOLLE compatible—but 5.11’s patent-pending SlickStick™ System makes it far easier to attach, detach, and simply move pouches and gear around.

The 5.11 Slickstick™ is compatible with standard MOLLE attachment systems, yet makes it much easier to attach, remove, and arrange your pouches and gear. Instead of the sewn-on soft nylon webbing that must be painstakingly woven through the loops on both pieces of gear, the Slickstick System offers a far more convenient alternative. The semi-rigid, reinforced nylon Slickstick, which slides through a polymer D-ring at the top of the VTAC pouch, is far easier to weave—or simply slide—through the loops. Snap it closed, just like a MOLLE strap, and your VTAC pouch is secure. Removing a pouch is as easy as popping the snaps and pulling the Slicksticks out.
