With a 2200 cu. in main gear bag specially designed for medical and trauma applications, the Firefly Pack system makes it easier to carry the first aid and trauma supplies you need for any operation…in virtually any location. Depending on your primary needs, The Firefly Medic Pack is available configured for either Wildland or SAR applications.

Drop front opening provides quick access to everything medical. Zip open the front flap, and suddenly it’s all in front of you. Three large, staggered zip-open pouches make wipes, gauze pads, gloves, and other supplies you always need available in an instant. Just pull that layer open and you’ve got four, removable color-coded organizer pouches. Because they attach with Velcro®, they can be taken out individually, filled with the things you need for specific situations, and replaced with ease. Two separate pockets can carry personal gear. Zippered side pockets are designed to hold I.V. bags or water. 100oz (3L) Hydration pocket holds the hydration bag of your choice.

Don’t need to carry the medic bag? Drop it with two quick zips. You can leave the Quick-Zip Removable Medic Bag behind, and carry only the essentials, like a 100oz. hydration reservoir, personal gear, and possibly a Fire Shelter or O2 Case. Medic Wildland: Take Shelter! A quick-zip detachable Fire Shelter Case is included. The Firefly Medic Wildland Pack comes standard with The New Generation Fire Shelter Case. It’s designed to carry the new, larger NFPA approved fire shelter, folded and ready for fast deployment. You supply the shelter you prefer. This durable 1000D Cordura case attaches to the bottom of the Firefly pack in seconds, or comes off with one quick zip.

Medic SAR: Take whatever you need. True North’s detachable SAR Case gives you the extra space and flexibility. Tough, roomy, readily accessible. The Firefly SAR Pack includes a durable 1000D nylon Search And Rescue Case which attaches to the bottom of your pack to provide an additional 375 cu. in. of carrying capacity. It will hold extra supplies, a large stand-alone first-aid kit, MREs and other must-have gear. Attaches and removes in seconds with a single zipper.

NOTE: Many professionals keep several SAR Cases pre-packed with specialized gear, so they can grab just what they need for a specific kind of call—and go!

SCS™—Super Compression Suspension makes it better on your back. With their low center of gravity and no-bounce construction makes these well-engineered packs feel virtually weightless. True North’s patented load-trapping design attaches the shoulder straps to the OUTSIDE edge of the pack, so the load is pulled in and held securely against you. This puts the pack's center of gravity as close as possible to your own. Load-trapping design allows the pack to follow your movement without hesitation, no swinging, no bouncing.
