Up to 160 lumens of precisely formed tactical light for 2.5 hours. The advanced C4 LED, now even brighter in the new TLR-2s, is perfectly matched to a Streamlight-engineered textured parabolic reflector with C4 Photonic Crystal technology to produce a blindingly powerful beam designed especially for weapon-mounted tactical use. With its tight, concentrated hotspot and optimum peripheral illumination Streamlight TLR series weapon lights let you illuminate a suspect at long range, without sacrificing your ability to spot movement and stay aware of your surroundings at the edges of your peripheral vision. A microcontroller regulates power to the efficient C4 LED, delivering up to 2.5 hours of continuous runtime at close to 95% full brightness before power falls off. Then you get additional runtime with diminishing light to provide useful light for navigation, back-up, and non-critical situations. And because lithium batteries have a storage life over 10 years, and are not affected by extreme temperatures, they provide a ready, extremely reliable source of power whenever it’s needed.

A powerful integrated red laser sight for precise aim. The TLR-2 and TLR-2s have the same, proven 650-660nm red laser sighting system integrated into the machined aircraft aluminum body of Tactical light. Precise windage and elevation adjustment screws are mounted in brass bushings for accurate adjustment and dependable zero retention, even after repeated removal and remounting. In addition to the Light’s ambidextrous on-off paddle switch, laser operation is controlled by a simple three-position mode selector switch that allows you to select Laser only, LED illumination only, or simultaneous operation of both.

Still virtually indestructible. The advanced TLR-2s and TLR-2 C4 LED light module, laser module, and inner workings are designed to take the shock-after-shock recoil of an automatic weapon in combat conditions. In fact the new Streamlight exclusive C4 LED is impervious to shock and virtually indestructible—guaranteed not to break or burn out over its 50,000 hour lifetime. With its waterproof, chemical-resistant high-impact anodized aircraft aluminum body and LED housing; and shock-mounted impact resistant Boro Float high-temperature glass lens, this life-saving powerhouse will stand up to intense heat, extreme weather, and all the physical punishment of daily duty…or the toughest tactical operations. A new hinged battery door makes battery changes faster and safer. Like the TLR-2, the new TLR-2s operates on two disposable CR123 lithium batteries. You can carry a couple spares in any pocket and change them in under a minute. The light is simply snapped off the weapon, the back opened, batteries changed, and the unit snapped back onto place on the rail in seconds. All without putting your hand in front of the muzzle. But the new TLR-2s adds another measure of safety with a new top-hinged battery door that flips up for battery removal and replacement then can be simply snapped closed, remaining securely attached to the body of light. The new design eliminates the possibility of dropping the battery door and switch unit in a tactical or combat situation where speed and reliability are critical—especially in the dark.
