SOG Flash II Rescue, Assisted Opening, Serrated Edge
| The Flash II Rescue Knife is the perfect knife for cutting clothing,
tangled rope or getting someone free. The extra long blade with a rounded tip
makes freeing someone or yourself from a tangled mess quick and safe. The S.A.T.
(SOG Assisted Technology) featured on the knife propels the blade open only using
one hand. Other features include a reversable pocket clip and a saftey lock switch.
The handles (glass reinforced Zytel) are contoured with a new ergonomic sensibility
that makes the knife a pleasure to use. SOG has also incorporated a new reversible,
bayonet-mounted clip that extends from the back of the handle for the lowest,
most discreet carry possible, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous opening.
S.A.T.™ (SOG Assisted Technology)
S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology) propels the blade out once the operator has
initiated the one-handed opening action. World-famous designer Spencer Frazer
states "I had this idea that I could devise a whole new technology to help
open a knife blade quickly and easily." S.A.T. allows for right-handed
people to use their left hand to open the knife fast and safe.
